【教材分析】本单元以“do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学,首先通过图文将学生带入“谈论电视节目”的语境中,并呈现了不同电视节目类型的表达方式,以及句型。让学生学会各种电视节目的英文表达,再让学生学会怎样用英语表达对不同电视节目以及事物的厌恶。通过用学生们熟悉的电视节目提高学生们学习兴趣,在通过简单的口语练习,使学生积极参与,合作,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
本课是该单元的第一课时,它安排了关于部分电视节目类型的单词,以及简单的表述厌恶的句子,为以后能正确表达自己的情感作出了准备。
【教学目标】
1.知识目标:
正确表达部分电视节目的名称:talent show, sports show, talk show, game show, sitcom, news, soap opera等;
正确表达喜好程度:I love them. I like them, I don’t mind them. I don’t like them. I can’t stand them;
掌握句型: What do you want to watch? What do you think of……..
2.能力目标:通过对话和听力训练,学生能够实际运用目标语言谈论对不同类型的电视节目的看法与偏好和制定计划。
3.德育目标:营造民主和谐的学习氛围,激发学生学习欲望;通过小组竞赛,学生学会和他人的合作;通过学习谈论对某些事物的喜欢与不喜欢,学做一个有个性的人;同时,学会正确处理爱好与学习之间的关系。
【教学重难点】
1.部分电视节目的名称talent show, sports show, talk show, game show, sitcom, news, soap opera等;

Step 1 Warming-up and lead in
1.让学生通过本单元的题目以及PPT 上的图画,猜测我们本节课将要谈论的话题(something about TV)
2.Play a guessing game“Listen to the music carefully.What TV show is it ?”
(news, weather report, animal world, game show --happy camp, Dad, where are we going?)
设计意图:运用猜测的教学策略以及创设真实的语言情景,激发学生的学习兴趣。同时,为进入下一个环节做好铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation.
1.Show some pictures and lead students to learn “sports show, soccer game,talk show,sitcom, soap opera, talent show”.
设计意图:运用图片激发兴趣,同时让学生很直观地了解电视节目的中英文名称,感受中西文化的差异。
2.Look and match 让学生把图片和正确的节目名称匹配
设计意图:通过匹配游戏,巩固重点词汇
3.Pairwork What kind of TV show do you like best ? Why?

设计意图:创设情境,谈论喜欢的节目。通过两人小组编对话,巩固重点词汇,学习目标语言What do you think of…,同时为引入目标语言I like them, I love them, I don’t mind them, I don't like them, I can’t stand them 做好铺垫。
We don’t like all the TV shows. How can we express our likes and dislikes?
4. Show“ like, love, don’t mind, don’t like, can’t stand”并在每个词语后面画笑脸和哭脸,让学生直观地了解他们表达的意义。
5.创设语言环境,展示我以及我的朋友们对sitcom的看法的语句,直接用笑脸和哭脸遮挡表达好恶的词汇,让学生根据语境推测所用的词汇。
设计意图:巩固目标语言,同时训练学生根据语境猜测词汇。

1.Play a video, get students to guess the nameof the show and say what they think of the show.
设计意图:设置真实的语言情景,既复习了电视节目,又复习了目标语言,同时还进一步激发学生的学习兴趣。
2.Tell the students We can learn a lot from TV shows. But watching TV too much is not good for our eyes and can get in the way of school work.
设计意图:让学生学会正确处理爱好与学习之间的关系。
3.统计小组得分情况,表扬优胜组。
设计意图:通过小组竞赛,学生学会和他人的合作, 同时在竞赛的激励下,对学习产生浓厚的兴趣。
